Birth of Gaslock GmbH<\/h5>
The origin of our company lies in a motorcycle dealership with Harley-Davidson representation of the motorcycle mechanic master and Gaslock founder J\u00f6rg Lienenkamp. During this time, there were repeated requests for lockable Harley tank caps. Since there was no offer at that time, J\u00f6rg Lienenkamp developed a solution on behalf of Harley-Davidson, first with an automotive supplier and from 1998 on his own. That was the birth of Gaslock GmbH.<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The development of complex and technically high-quality products in small and medium series quickly became our specialty. Confidence in the team around Managing Director J\u00f6rg Lienenkamp grew, so that Harley-Davidson commissioned us with the development of further accessories. INDY-CATOR\u00ae <\/h5>
Our team supplemented these core products with a first in-house development in 2005. As an accessory for vehicles, we introduced the INDY-CATOR\u00ae, an LCD gear indicator shift knob for manual transmissions, to the automotive aftermarket. Further variants of the INDY-CATOR\u00ae followed.<\/div>

GASLEVEL\u00ae<\/h5>
The next major innovation and entry into the leisure market, among others, came in 2010 with the GASLEVEL\u00ae gas level indicator based on ultrasonic sensor technology. The handy device measures gas levels in propane cylinders, e.g. for camping, boats and outdoor heaters. Our production facilities for lockable fuel caps, oil dipsticks, fuel level indicators, gear indicators and gas level indicators are state-of-the-art and partly developed in-house. In this way, we ensure high product quality, as demonstrated, for example, by the long-standing business relationship with Harley-Davidson that has existed since Gaslock was founded.<\/p>\n

Electronic modules
\nOur solder paste printers, SMD technology (component placers) and vapor phase soldering machines, which are optimized for flexibility, enable us to produce boards (printed circuit boards) of the highest quality, low reject rates and highly flexible order processing.<\/p>\n

Some of our PCBs and sensors are overmolded with thermoplastics on our injection molding machines. Here we have gained a lot of experience in the so-called “over-molding”.<\/p>\n

Manual assembly
\nIn final assembly, our well-trained specialists work at ergonomically designed workstations. Depending on the product, we assemble in island assemblies or individual assembly lines. Our packaging line is flexible in use.<\/p>\n

Engravings, inscriptions
\nWhether stainless steel, aluminum, brass or plastic – we mark (label) our products at the end of the production process by laser engraving and pad printing.<\/p>\n

Since 1998, we have been developing and producing lockable tank caps for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and gear indicators for the automotive industry since 2005.
